08 - 8 small flour tortillas (6-inch)
09 - 8 slices cheddar or American cheese
10 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
→ Toppings
11 - 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
12 - 1 large tomato, diced
13 - 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
14 - 1/4 cup diced red onion
15 - 1/4 cup burger sauce (store-bought or homemade)
# How-To:
01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and crumble in ground beef. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
02 - Stir ketchup and yellow mustard into the cooked beef. Continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
03 - Wipe the skillet clean, then pour in vegetable oil and heat over medium heat until shimmering.
04 - Place a flour tortilla in the skillet. Top with a slice of cheese, then spoon a generous portion of the beef mixture onto the cheese. Fold the tortilla in half, gently pressing to seal. Fry for 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining tortillas, cheese, and beef.
05 - Fill each taco with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced pickles, and diced red onion. Drizzle with burger sauce.
06 - Serve the tacos immediately while hot and enjoy.
